Kimberly Simms hosted the Peace Center's Teen Poetry Slam at their 15th Anniversary Celbration on December 3rd, 2005.

Kimberly Simms has performed in over 20 major American cities, in addition to making numerous appearances on London stages in England.

She was a member of the 1998 Greenville Slam Team with Glenis Redmond and Vera Gomez that won the Southern Fried Championship and made it to semi-finals at the National Poetry Slam.
